Dehouck, Lucile

Lucile Dehouck is a PhD candidate at the Paris School of Economics (PSE). She is also a research fellow at IC Migration and PSE Economics of International Migration Chair. In the Spring of 2024, she visited Columbia University. Before the PhD, she received a master's in economics from École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and École Polytechnique. 

Research interests

Lucile's main research areas are Environment, Development, and Migration Economics. She is particularly interested in how Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene interventions can help alleviate poverty while building climate resilience. In her thesis, she aims to contribute to a better understanding of the relationship between migration and climate. She is currently involved in research on the impact of access to drinking water on migration.
