One of the Global Hub's mandates is to ensure that EfD’s research is of high scientific quality and has the potential for policy impact.
Given the substantial number of existing journals and their heterogeneity in quality, EfD has curated a list of recognized scientific journals that are aligned with EfD’s vision. The list is the result of joint work between researchers at the Global Hub and members of the research committee. The RC approved the list and recommended that it should be available to all researchers in the network.
The list is not comprehensive of all the journals in economics, or any other discipline for that matter, only of those more closely related to our mission. The list is not meant to be prescriptive and should be seen as an aid when deciding where to submit a manuscript. We hope that this proves to be useful, especially for new researchers. The list will be updated every few years.
