EfD's Code of Conduct

EfD is dedicated to ensuring fair and ethical treatment of all its members and participants in all EfD activities (i.e. where the EfD brand or EfD funding is used). We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy against any form of discrimination or harassment, including sexual harassment. This applies within the organization, during meetings, in the field, and in all professional or social activities conducted under the aegis of the EfD.

EfD is an academic network that focuses on the creation of high-quality, policy-relevant knowledge. This means that EfD has zero tolerance for any form of unethical research practices. Read about EfD’s principles regarding research ethics that are also stipulated in all research funding from EfD:

In addition, EfD has a zero-tolerance of any form of financial irregularities such as financial mismanagement, bribes, corruption, fraud, etc. related to EfD-sponsored activities. Any suspected irregular activities should be reported either to EfD, the University of Gothenburg, or Sida, please see the links below. We encourage all members of EfD to learn more about anti-corruption. Viewing these videos is also part of EfD’s membership requirements.
