The EfD Early Career Fellowship Program is aimed at improving the capacity of researchers in conducting high-quality and policy-relevant research at their respective EfD centers. The first cohort of the program is planned to run for two years: January 2022 to December 2023.
It involves three components:
1. Training in advanced quantitative methods, gender analysis of environmental management, climate and development economics, policy engagement and communication, and academic writing
2. Mentorship by senior members of the EfD network and other international collaborators
3. A series of research workshops
The program is aimed at early-career researchers who received their PhDs in relevant sub-fields of Economics (Environmental Economics, Development Economics, Agricultural Economics, Forest Economics, Energy Economics) no more than five years ago, and who are highly motivated both to produce high-standard research papers and play active roles in strengthening the research environment of their respective EfD centers.
