Dresdner Cid, Jorge
Jorge Dresdner is Professor (Profesor Titular) at the Department of Economics (Departamento de Economía), Universidad de Concepción. He is P.I. of the Socioeconomic Sustainability Research Line (RP5) at the Interdisciplinary Center for Aquaculture Research (INCAR), and a senior research fellow at the Environment for Development Initiative (EfD). He took his Ph.D. (1989) in Economics at Uppsala University, Sweden. His research and teaching focuses on marine resource economics (aquaculture and fisheries economics). He has written on the evaluation of natural resource policies with a special emphasis on different resource user rights and the enforcement of natural resource policies. He is currently Associate Editor of the journal Marine Resource Economics.
