ESKOM and consumer understanding of billing practices

ESKOM (national Energy Service Provider) has contracted Martine Visser, Grant Smith (masters student) and Steven Davies to do research on consumer understanding of billing practices.

We conducted focus groups in different parts of South Africa with people from respective income groups and subsequently had meetings with policy makers from ESKOM and also participated in a workshop organized by ESKOM to give feedback to key stakeholders and policy makers.
