The EfD annual meeting is a forum to bring together researchers from EfD centers, their collaborators and other key stakeholders for exchange of research ideas, discussion of research proposals and presentation of results from EfD projects.
PAPER SUBMISSION
The EfD network invites submission of full draft papers on topics related to environmental and resource economics in developing countries and relevant EfD themes. Please submit your manuscript online via Editorial Express, www.editorialexpress.com/efd, by July 20, 2016. Selected authors will be notified by August 1, 2016, after which the registration for the annual meeting will be open. Final draft accepted papers must be submitted by October 15 to be included in the final program of the annual meeting.
CONTACT AND PARTICIPATION
In 2016, the annual meeting will be held in Pucón, Chile. It is being organized by the Research Nucleus on Environmental and Natural Resource Economics (NENRE, by its Spanish acronym) at the University of Concepción, Chile, together with the EfD Secretariat. Questions related to local arrangements can be directed to Carlos Chávez Rebolledo, Director of EfD Chile or Walter Gómez, Deputy Director, EfD Chile through nenre@udec.cl. The EfD network will cover travel and local costs for EfD researchers whose proposals or papers from EfD-funded projects have been accepted for presentation at the annual meeting. EfD covers local cost (not travel) for EfD researchers (Senior Research Fellows, Research Fellows and international research associates) with accepted papers. Other participants are
expected to cover their full cost to participate in the annual meeting. The local costs (local transport, room, board and excursion) for the EfD annual meeting in Pucón) is about $206/day.
