As Uganda moves towards achieving the renewable clean energy agenda, the parliamentary committee on environment and natural resources has pledged to support proposals on a policy for clean cooking technologies at the household level. The chairperson of the committee, Emmanuel Otala, says that the government should make deliberate efforts to achieve its agenda to combat climate change and finds the recommendations from the researchers valuable.
