TRANSPATH is a project that addresses the urgent need for transformative change to tackle biodiversity loss and climate change. Recognizing that conventional policies are insufficient, TRANSPATH focuses on system-wide restructuring to address unsustainable practices in extraction, production, consumption, and trade.
By identifying leverage points and interventions at various levels, including consumers, producers, and organizations, the project seeks to accelerate diverse transformative pathways towards biodiversity-positive and climate-proofed societies. This integrated approach acknowledges the interconnectedness of these global crises and the need for integrated policies and interventions. Through inclusive, deliberative processes, TRANSPATH considers social-cultural contexts and rights, aiming to enable transformative changes that are just and sustainable.
