Funded by the Moore Foundation, this three-year project is a collaboration with The Nature Conservancy (TNC).
The first stage focused on defining the “Conservation Return on Investment.” The second stage focuses on implementing the concept in the context of a specific TNC project. Toward that end, RFF is developing a model to spatially target REDD+ projects in support of the Mexico REDD project led by TNC. RFF researchers include Allen Blackman (Director), Jim Boyd, Juha Siikmaki, and Jessica Chu. The project began in 2011 and will end in 2014.
