Stock Take Report of Uganda’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCS) and NDC Partnership Plan Implementation

The purpose of this study was to establish the status of NDC implementation in Uganda, document early
achievements of the Uganda NDC Partnership Plan and identify elements necessary for updating the country’s
NDC by 2020. The specific aims were to take stock of the implementation of Uganda NDC while taking into
account the available science; determine the aggregate level of achievement of NDC Partnership Plan
implementation; identify gaps, barriers and challenges faced while implementing the NDC and NDC Partnership
Plan; document early lessons, successes and experiences on NDC and NDC Partnership Plan implementation and
make recommendations for informing the next round of Uganda NDC in 2020.
