In-service training on Environmental Economics 24-28 December 2012

The trainees were drawn from different public institutions both at federal and regional level. There were a total of 13 participants most coming from Environmental Protection Authority offices located in 8 regions across the country. Participants also came from Ministry of Water and Energy and Ministry of Agriculture.

As one of the objectives of EEPFE is to increase the knowledge of civil servants and other stakeholders on environmental and development issues, this training is one of the mechanisms for fulfilling this goal and address any gaps that may exist based on training need assessment conducted by these same stakeholders in May 2012.
