EfD-CA researchers and partner organizations are putting together an ambitious capacity building and training agenda for 2014. The agenda includes six training activities by the Latin American and the Caribbean Environment and Economics Program (LACEEP), one workshop by EfD-CA with IDRC Water and Climate Change Program, and one course by EfD-CA and CATIE.
The themes of these training activities include economic analysis of issues on climate change and biodiversity. These courses and workshops provide a solid introduction on economic methods and techniques for decision making as well as on policy analysis of environmental issues specially targeted at researchers from the region.
