The Environment and Climate Research Center (ECRC) at the Policy Studies Institute (PSI) hosted a half-day policy day workshop on July 12, 2022. The policy workshop aimed to share research findings on land use and agricultural practices so that food security can be improved without losing precious biodiversity and without worsening social inequality among others. Three papers were presented by ECRC researchers followed by a lively discussion afterward.
ECRC has also rolled out a horizon scanning survey exercise to collect research topics and ideas to further strengthen the strategic research agenda.
The workshop was attended by various government and non-government organizations, academia, and research institutes.
A policy day is a platform ECRC uses to bring together researchers and policymakers to discuss and dialogue on relevant research findings the center conducts.
