After two years of virtual events, the EfD's Annual Meeting is now finally back to meeting in person. It will be held in Uganda on September 22–26, 2022 and it offers a very rich program.
There will be three high-class academic keynotes and two policy keynotes. The keynote presentations will also be available online for those who will not be able to attend the meeting on-site.
There will also be 40 parallel sessions, catering to different specific areas of research, with no less than 137 presentations.
All the collaborative programs will have meetings, six of them open and five by invitation.
In addition, there will be pedagogical training sessions for teachers as well as training sessions within the EfD's Early Career Fellowship program.
EfD's Annual Meeting is the largest and most exciting conference in the Global South on the application of environmental and resource economics. Now, that it's back to being a live event, there will be unique opportunities for networking across the borders, finding new opportunities for collaborations, and exchange of knowledge and experiences.
The conference is hosted by the EfD center at Makerere University in a beautiful venue on the shores of Lake Victoria near Kampala, Uganda.
