About the talk: Over the past decade, the Swedish business sector has intensified its efforts to combat climate change. However, what motivates these actions? How do various businesses contribute, and what is now required from policymakers, researchers, and customers? How can we ensure the genuine reduction of climate emissions? Lastly, what legal frameworks, methods, and processes support a sustainable transition in the business sector?
About Nina: Nina Ekelund has 25 years of experience in climate and environmental issues within the political and business arena. Nina founded the business network Haga Initiative in 2010 and is its Executive Director. She has previously worked at the Environmental Administration in Stockholm, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the Prime Minister’s Office and the Stockholm Resilience Centre among others. Nina is one of Sweden’s most influential speakers in business climate change. Nina has founded two companies and the latter in 2021 being Transformity focusing on climate transformation.
