The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Environmental Economics Policy Research Unit (EPRU) of the School of Economics, University of Cape Town are delighted to announce the presentation of the OECD Environmental Performance Review of South Africa.
The report is the first OECD review of South Africa’s environmental performance. It is the result of a constructive and mutually beneficial policy dialogue between South Africa and the OECD Working Party on Environmental Performance. The report presents 36 recommendations with a special emphasis on green growth, environmental governance, biodiversity and mining.
