Money (Not) to Burn: Payments for Ecosystem Services to Reduce Crop Residue Burning.

Next week’s GES speaker will be Kelsey Jack, who is an Associate Professor at University of California, Santa Barbara. The seminar will take place on Zoom on Tuesday, March 29, at 15:05-16:00 (note the unusual time).

Kelsey does research in environmental and development economics, with a focus on how natural resources are used to provide public goods. She has published work in the American Economic Review, American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, Review of Economics and Statistics and many more. Kelsey will have some limited time after her seminar for individual meetings.
