Camille Belmin, PhD Candidate at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK)
Camille Belmin is a PhD candidate in the Future Lab Social Metabolism and Impacts at PIK and at Humboldt University of Berlin. Her research focuses on the effect of access to modern energy on the fertility transition in low income countries, and on relevant applications for sustainable development policies. Her work lies at the intersection of the sociology of energy, demography and social metabolism. Camille has a Master's degree from AgroParisTech, the French leading Institute of Technology for Life, Food and Environmental Sciences.
