We are delighted to announce the launch of the Summer School on “Trade and Climate Change” sponsored by the Development Economics Institute. The course will take place in Perugia, Italy, from July 15 to 19, 2024.

Established under the leadership of the World Bank Group Chief Economist, the Institute is committed to broadening the reach and enhancing the practical application of the World Bank’s comprehensive repository of development knowledge, research and data among researchers, academia, and policy decision-makers.

Participation in this course offers a chance to connect with World Bank practitioners, access a wealth of World Bank research, data, and knowledge products, and fill some of the knowledge gaps on the nexus between trade and the environment.

To apply to the Summer School, please access the application link provided (here). You will be prompted to submit your name and CV (including email and phone number). Selection for participation will be based on meeting the course requirements and space availability. You will also be given the option to apply for financial assistance, which will be provided to a limited number of applicants. Please submit your application by April 10, 2024.

Please do send any inquiries to this email. Should you have any questions or require additional information, you may contact the Development Economics Institute (institute@worldbank.org) and copy Maria Chiara de Sando (mdesando@worldbank.org).
