Tatwangire, Alex

Alex Tatwangire is a Lecturer at the Department of Agribusiness and Natural Resource Economics, School of Agricultural Sciences, College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES), Makerere University.  Dr. Tatwangire received his PhD degree in Development and Resource Economics from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Norway. He holds a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture (Economics option) both from Makerere University. His research interests are in areas of: farm household decision making; economic modeling; poverty analysis, land access and reforms; land markets; price analysis and markets; gender studies, value chain analysis; food and nutritional security; impact evaluation; assessment of policies and programmes; public expenditure, governance; climate adaptation, environment and; sustainable development.
