Rosas, Juan Carlos
Juan C. Rosas Munoz works at the Faculty of Business Management of the Universidad del Bio-Bio. He got his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, and his Master’s in Environmental and Resource Economics at the Universidad de Concepción, Chile. He is an Environment for Development Chile (EfD) Research Centre member and a Research Fellow.
Research interests
Juan’s main research areas are environmental and resource economics as well as the relationship between the environment and people's well-being. Particularly he is interested in the sustainable management of natural resources and its link with socioeconomic and territorial inequalities and poverty. His work combines theory with empirical data analysis, mostly using game theory and micro econometric methods.
