Quiroga Suazo, Miguel Ángel
Miguel Quiroga is an Associate Professor (Profesor Asociado) in the Department of Economics at Universidad de Concepción, Chile. He is a senior research fellow at the Environment for Development Initiative (EfD). He holds a Ph.D. (2009) in Economics from the University of Gothenburg. His research and teaching is focused on Microeconomics, Microeconomics of Development and Natural Resource Economics. He has written on the link between natural
resources policies and poverty and regional development in the developing world. He currently serves as Executive Vice President at Universidad de Concepcion.
