August K Joachim is at present working as a Junior Researcher. He is finalising his dissertation for the award of Masters Degree in Economics and his area of studies is in Economic Evaluation of consumable Non-Timber Forest Products: Evidence from Rombo District- Kilimanjaro he is supervised by Dr. Razack Lokina. Formally he has done his studies at the University of Dar es Salaam - Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics; he is coursing the masters in Economics.

Specialisation: Environmental Economics,Econometrics and Health.
