Garay, Andrea
Andrea is a professional in marketing and advertising with a master's degree in Economics, Development, and Climate Change. Her expertise is formulating and implementing research and development projects, research methodologies, design, and implementation of business and marketing plans, mapping and analysis of value chains, workshops, and training on socio-environmental issues, gender, and development oriented to the rural sector.
Her work experience includes working with indigenous people, afro-descendant, and peasant communities (including fishermen and fish farmers) in Colombia's Caribbean, Pacific, and Amazon regions. Also, working with small and medium-scale producers, associations, and other rural groups in Central America and Caribbean countries.

Andrea is a current director and member of graduation committees for students of the master's degree in Agribusiness Management and Sustainable Markets (GANEMOS, for its Spanish acronym), of CATIE.
