Babyenda, Peter, PhD (Economics) Babyenda Peter is the College Policy Engagement Coordinator and a lecturer in the department of Policy and Development Economics (PDE), School of Economics, College of Business and Management Sciences. He holds a PhD in Environment and Natural Resources Economics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. His areas of specialization are Experimental and Behavioral modelling and Analysis of both Microeconomic and Macroeconomic aspects in development Economics, Natural Capital Accounting, Environment and Climate Change. Beyond these, Babyenda Peter is a trained Project Integrated Management (PIM) specialist and has participated in the making of PIM manuals and sector specific diagnostic studies under the School of Economics, Makerere University. Peter is also an enthusiast of environmental and Natural Resources Economics including developing the country’s systems of accounts in Water and Eco system among other natural capital forms. Peter is also the current Policy Engagement Specialist (PES) for the Inclusive Green Economy (IGE) capacity building program for senior civil servants and Research Fellow at EfD-Mak-Centre, School on Economics, Makerere University and the patron for Makerere University Economic Society.
