Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) in Environmental Policy. This is a 5-year position. The successful candidate will spend time in both UCD and in the newly developed Chang’an Dublin International College of Transportation (CDIC), in Xi’an, China. Candidates will have a PhD in an area related to Transportation and Environmental Policy. They will be able to publish in international journals on environmental policy and economics and commit to high-quality university-level teaching, learning, and student support. They will have research and teaching experience in the area of transport and environmental policy and an ability to teach Environmental Economics at the undergraduate level. They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a capacity and enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary context to promote policy impact, and an ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will have flexibility and willingness to travel and must demonstrate how they can positively contribute to fostering an inclusive environment, and demonstrate a level of awareness of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
