This video introduces the interactive Carbon Pricing Incidence Calculator web tool (CPIC) and its different functionalities. Stakeholders from academia, politics, and civil society explain how it links to current debates around the social impacts of carbon pricing and how it can help facilitate an informed discourse on the topic.
CPIC was developed by MCC Berlin, Research Domain Climate Economics and Policy at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, Germany.
The project was funded and strategically supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The tool builds on research that has been published or proposed for publication in peer-reviewed academic journals.
