EfD is an international network of environmental economics think tanks. We strive to create domestic centers of excellence in research, policy interaction and academic training with a focus on environmental issues in the developing world. We have identified a number of gaps that need to be addressed in order to influence environmental policy. EfD aim to fill these gaps. Currently, there are 12 EfD centers around the globe in: Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Central America, Colombia, Chile, China, Vietnam, India, USA and in Sweden.
