A tool to shape public policies?

Grant Smithsonian is completing a bursary-funded master in economics at the University of Cape Town supervised by Dr Martine Visser. His current research interests are the use of behavioural economics in targeted public policy in the developing world as well as the experimental method as a research tool in economics. Before that he worked in the private sector doing price modelling and large quantitative surveys.
