Allen Blackman, Principal Economic Advisor to the Climate and Sustainable Development sector at the Inter-American Development Bank and Nonresident Fellow at Resources for the Future. His research focuses on three broad areas: land use and land cover change, air pollution and other urban environmental issues, and agricultural supply chains. He serves as Associate Editor of Environment and Development Economics and the Latin American Economic Review. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, and a B.A. in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
