125 policymakers and researchers gathers at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh city campus in Vinh Long to discus about the Adaptation to Climate Change in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam
In the morning, participants discuss about the policy in association with the climate change, including (i) a scenario analysis from the Institute of Meteorology, Hydrology and Climate Change - Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment, (ii) the general report about the adaptation in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam, (iii) a practical adaptation strategy in a local province and (iv) effects to household this region.
In the afternoon is an dissemination from academic studies. Along with the dialogue is a workshop on basic remote sensing applications for land use planning in the context of climate change with participation of staff from departments of agricultural and rural development and departments of natural resources and environment.
