Xia, Fan

Dr. Fan Xia is an assistant professor of environmental economics at the Institute for the Environment and Health at Nanjing University. Before joining Nanjing University, Fan worked as a postdoc at Yale University (2023) and Nanjing University (2020-2023).

Fan received her Ph.D. in Economics from National School of Development at Peking University in 2020. She received her bachelor’s degree of Environmental Science from Peking University in 2015.

Research interest

Fan’s research interests mainly include the economics of environment and health, environmental policies and firm behaviors.

Mentoring

Fan is now mentoring 5 master students at Nanjing University.
