Urama, Chinasa Ebere

Dr. Chinasa E. Urama is currently a Lecturer at the Department of Economics, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She obtained her BSc degree (1998); MSc Degree (2005) and PhD Degree (2015) in Economics from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She joined the service of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2006 as a planning officer in the Academic Planning Unit of the Vice Chancellor’s Office where she rose to the position of Chief Planning Officer before joining the Academia in 2016. Her doctorate degree is in the area of Health and Development Economics where she has published enormously in both peer reviewed, scientific and reputable journals. She has carried out some studies in Gender and poverty related issues. Other areas where she has research interest include: macro and micro economics, finance and fiscal policy. She has also supervised many students. Dr. Chinasa E. Urama has attended and presented papers at many conferences both national and international.
