Ukwueze, Ezebuilo

Ezebuilo Romanus Ukwueze is a Senior Research Fellow at the Resource and Environmental Policy Research Centre (REPRC), EfD, Nigeria. Before joining REPRC in 2019, Ezebuilo was a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria. He has a Master’s degree (2002) and PhD (2014) from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has taught many undergraduate courses, teaches Master’s degree and PhD courses. 

Research Interests

Ezebuilo’s current research interests are in Environmental and Development Economics. He has also researched on energy economics, trade, gender issues and their linkages with poverty.

Mentoring

Dr. Ukwueze has supervised and mentored more than 20 M.Sc students and is currently mentoring and supervising PhD students.

He is part of the team with EfD grant on the topic: Coping with water scarcity, preferences and willingness to pay for water in Enugu, Nigeria.
