Tochukwu Georgina , Umeonuora
Umeonuora, Tochukwu Georgina is a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics, University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a research fellow in Resource and Environmental Policy Research Centre, Environment for Development, (REPRC-EfD) Nigeria. She obtained her first degree and masters degree in resource and environmental economics in the same Department. Tochukwu is currently studying for her doctoral degree in the Department of Agricultural Economics, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Her current research is on Rice biodiversity, Efficiency and Women Empowerment.
She has published papers in international and local peer reviewed journals. Also, she has attended various trainings including Econometric for policy Analysis, Innovative Thinking in Research, Teaching and Learning, and Academic Writing and Communication Research in Ghana and within Nigeria.
Her research interests include natural resource management, sustainable forest management, forest economics, climate change, environment, energy issues, biodiversity conservation, sustainable agriculture, food security, gender, and rural development.
