Sircar, Sujaya
Sujaya Sircar is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. I completed my masters from the Centre of International Trade and Development (with specialization in World Economy), Jawaharlal Nehru University and a Ph.D the Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi.
Research Interests
Sujaya's main research interests are Environmental Economics, Labour Economics and Development Economics. In her research she has analyzed the phenomenon of job polarization in developing countries. She has also examined how firm-level hiring decisions are affected by computer capital investments. Her current research looks at the impact of climate change on human capital formation.
