Sikei, Geophrey

Geophrey Sikei currently works with EfD-Kenya as a Junior Research Fellow and also assist the Programme Coordinator in ensuring smooth operations of the EfD-K center. He holds a Masters of Science degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Egerton University and Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Management from Moi University. In his MSc training, Geophrey specialized in Environmental Economics whose specialized courses he undertook at the Centre for Environmental Economics and Policy in Africa (CEEPA) at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Prior to joining KIPPRA, he had worked as a Research Consultant for African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) and Future Agricultures Consortium (FAC). He has a special interest in environment and resource economics and has successfully undertaken research projects nationally and internationally.
