Phu, Nguyen Van
Phu Nguyen-Van is a Research Professor (Directeur de Recherche) at the French National Center of Scientific Research (CNRS). He holds a Ph.D. in economics (2003) and an Accreditation to Supervise Research (HDR, 2013) from the University of Strasbourg. Before joining EconomiX (a joint research unit of the CNRS and University of Paris Nanterre), he was affiliated with the THEMA (CNRS & Cergy Paris University) and the BETA (CNRS & University of Strasbourg). He is also a member of the Labex program IDGM+ (Clermont-Ferrand, France).
Research interest
Phu Nguyen-Van's main research area are Environmental Economics and Agricultural Economics using econometric, behavioral and experimental tools.
Mentoring
Participated in several PhD committees and jurys. Supervised several master theses (on average 1/year) and PhD in economics (10 completed and 4 ongoing)
