Onsomu, Carol
Carol Bisieri Onsomu holds a Bachelors in Economics and Statistics degree in 2015 and a Masters of Arts in Economics degree in 2019 at the University of Nairobi with focus on microeconomics and macroeconomics. She is a Kenyan consultant currently serving as a Governance Practice & Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment consultant at the World Bank Group since 2019. From 2018 to 2019, Carol Bisieri worked in a Dissertation Research Internship Programme (DRIP) as a Graduate Scholar at the International Center of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE) with her main interests on Agriculture and Environmental Economics. Previously, Carol served as a Research Assistant in various government institutions influencing policy for implementation to relevant stakeholders and addressed problems in the society that sought to improve welfare through creation of much impact using visualization tools and economic models to solve real industry problems with evidence of data.
