Mwavu, Edward Nector

Mwavu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Forestry, Bio-Diversity and Tourism bringing experience from previous roles at University of Rwanda. Edward Mwavu holds a 2002 - 2007 PhD in Plant Ecology at University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. With a robust skill set that includes Ecology, Climate Change, Environmental Impact Assessment, Sustainability, Research and more, Edward Mwavu contributes valuable insights to the industry. He has done consultancies in the area of climate change, sustainable land management (SLM), biodiversity. He is also a reviewer for the following peerreviewed journals: The Egyptian Journal of Botany, African Journal of Ecology, Land Degradation and Development, Biotropica, KOEDOE. He is a PhD holder in Plant Ecology from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.
