Mumo, Mercy

Mercy Mumo holds a bachelors in Economics and a Masters of Arts in Economics; with a focus on Environmental Economics at the University of Nairobi. She currently serves as a United Nations Volunteer (UNV) in the Policy and programme division, at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). She has been an active member of EfD-Kenya since 2019. Previously, Mercy has worked with the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development as a research assistant, Kenya National Bureau of Statistics as a Content Supervisor, and as a consultant in the Regional Office for Africa- Switch Africa Green Project.

Her previous experience has enabled her to develop and leverage skills in quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation of programs, projects’ implementation and coordination.
