Mullan, Katrina

Katrina Mullan is an Associate Professor in the Economics Department at the University of Montana. She studies the drivers of land use change; impacts of policies for conservation of tropical forests; and the value of forest ecosystem services for agricultural production and human health. She uses quantitative empirical methods, often collaborating with researchers from other disciplines including hydrology, ecology and public health. Dr Mullan received her PhD from the University of Cambridge, having previously worked as an Economic Advisor for the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
