Muhammed Zuka, Fawzia

Fawzia recently completed her PhD in Integrated Coastal Zone Management from the Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Her research focuses on gender and fisheries management, vulnerability assessment, environmental sustainability and the blue economy, governance, and social resilience. Passionate about promoting sustainable natural resource management, Fawzia has expertise in designing and conducting surveys, performing economic experiments, and analyzing data with econometric tools. She interned with the World Bank Group in Kenya and collaborated on a project funded by Environment for Development. Currently, she is the project administrator at the Environment and Natural Resource Research Initiative (ENRRI-EfD Ghana).
