Moros, Lina

Lina Moros is an Assistant Professor at the School of Management at Universidad de los Andes. She holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Techonologies from the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2019), and a MSc in Social Policy Research from the London School of Economics. 

Research interests 

Her research interests are payment for environmental services, experimental economics and collective action. 

Mentoring

She has mentored 5 undergraduate students in their final career project. She has been examiner of 4 Master's thesis and currently she is Co-supervisor of 1 PhD thesis.  

Policy engagement 

She is currently part of the research team writing the "paying for nature and society" report lead by Ximena Rueda for the Commission on Sustainable Agriculture Intensification (COSAI). 

She is also doing a consultancy on the monitoring and evaluating Conservation Agreements in Colombia for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).  

She has worked for the World Bank in a short term consultancy on payments for silvopastoril schemes in Colombia (2019).
