Montrone, Lorenzo

Lorenzo Montrone is a Ph.D. candidate and researcher in the MCC working group Climate and Development. His research focuses on:

  • The political economy of energy transitions in developing countries
  • Distributional impacts of carbon pricing
  • Structural Change and Poverty

Lorenzo studied at the Roma Tre University and Humboldt University of Berlin. He holds a Master of Environmental and Development Economics. He further studied Political Science with Governance and Public administration (B.Sc.) at Roma Tre and the University of Bergen.
