Mogess, Yohannes Kefale

Yohannes Kefale is a PhD student at the University of Cape Town, under the supervision of Prof. Martine Visser, and a lecturer in the Department of Economics at Haramaya University. He holds a master’s degree in Economics from Addis Ababa University. His research interests lie in environmental economics, energy economics, experimental economics, and development economics, with a particular focus on climate change, energy, health, and poverty in developing economies. Yohannes has extensive experience in survey-based research, including the analysis of large-scale household surveys and geospatial data using advanced statistical methods. He has taught various undergraduate courses, including Econometrics, Environmental Economics, Microeconomics, and Development Economics.

He has supervised over 35 undergraduate students in the completion of their graduation theses.
