Martínez, Ruth

M. Ruth Martínez-Rodríguez received her PhD in Environmental Anthropology from the University of Georgia, and also holds a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences from EARTH University.

She works at Conservation International as project manager for CASCADE (Ecosystem-based Adaptation for Smallholder Subsistence and Coffee Farming Communities in Central America), a project carried out with CATIE. Also, she teaches at the School of Anthropology of the University of Costa Rica on ethnobiological and environmental topics.
