Maniragaba, Abias

Abias Maniragaba holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Health with deep training in Environmental Economics from different international organizations like GIZ and the University of Gothenburg. He has worked for more than 10 years as a university Lecturer with different assignments including administration and consultancies. Abias has an academic grade of Senior Lecturer with participation in the publications of more than 40 scientific papers. He is a member of different international organizations like IHP at UNESCO Rwandan Commission, the World association of soil and water conservation, the Society of conservation biology, and the Rwanda Association of professional Environmental Practitioners (RAPEP). His current position is as a Policy Engagement Specialist for the program on Inclusive Green Economy in Practice for Senior Civil Servants, based at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN) in Rwanda.
