Komba, Coretha

Coretha is a Senior Lecturer of Economics at Mzumbe University, Dar es Salaam Campus College in Tanzania. She is a holder of PhD in Economics at the University of Cape Town, South Africa (2014), M.A in International Development at the International University of Japan, Japan (2004); Advanced Diploma in Economic Planning at the Institute of Development Management, Mzumbe-Tanzania (2000).

Her research interests are in the economic impact of climate change adaptation and mitigation; natural resources and environmental economics; monetary and financial economics.

Coretha has also provided the consultancy services to a number of institutions including United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Ministry of Minerals, and Deep Sea Fishing Authority (DSFA)

Coretha has authored and published several articles and book chapter in economics and business in both local and international journals and publishers
